West Visayas State University (WVSU) in Lapaz, Iloilo City has once again proven that it is the best nursing school in the country by topping the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) with 100% passing rate and 7 topnotchers.

PRC Board of Nursing has released recently the results of NLE which was given last May 30 and 31 in cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
All of WVSU’s 153 examinees successfully made it, making it one of the top performing schools together with Chinese General Hospital Colleges (55 examinees) and Silliman University (56 examinees). Also, 7 of WVSU graduates made it to the top ten examinees’ list.

The NLE results were released in just 16 working days, with a total 9,707 out of 17,891 examinees making it successfully. The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Perla G. Po, Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza and Florence C. Cawaon, Members.
