The incident happened in front of Iloilo Society Commercial in Rizal Street, City Proper on October 1. At around 10:40 in the morning, a pregnant Gemelyn Perez arrived with her gray SUV waiting for an open parking space. Few minutes later, a black car driven by Manuel Sanson pulled over in front of Perez’ car.
Sanson immediately sneaked in his car to a just-vacated parking space, almost bumping into Perez’s car as both tried to get the open slot. Perez then parked her SUV in the back of Sanson’s.
When he got out of the grocery, Sanson was disgusted that Perez’s car was parked behind his. CCTV showed he forcefully swung back the door of his car, hitting Perez’s SUV. A few minutes later, he also kicked the SUV.
Shocked with the damage in her SUV, Perez confronted Sanson. The argument ensued which resulted to the latter slapping the former as caught by CCTV and witnessed by bystanders.
