The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) turned over to the city government the Sustainable Transport Policy Toolkit that can be used by the local government unit.
No less than deputy chief Joseph Foltz of USAID’s Office of Environment, Energy and Climate arrived in Iloilo for the event.
The toolkit is part of the Climate Change and Clean Energy Project of USAID.“We welcome this assistance from USAID that will greatly help us in making our Urban Sustainable Transport Plan,” Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog stated.
It will attempt to harmonize plans in traffic management, engineering, reduction of vehicles, roads, education of users, and transport enforcement of laws.
