This September, the Technical Institute of Iloilo City (TIIC)-Bo. Obrero Campus is accepting enrollees for the training period October to December 2016.
Classes will start on first Monday of October offered for its three-month technical courses including Beauty Care National Certificate (NC II), Computer System Servicing NC II, Computer Literacy, Consumer Electronics Servicing NC II, Cookery NC II, Dressmaking NC II, and Food and Beverage Services NC II.
Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog encouraged city residents especially the out-of-school youth to take technical-vocational trainings for them to have chances of getting more employment opportunities.
TIIC-Bo. Obrero Administrator Carlito L. Jusa said the City Government recognized the need for competent and skilled manpower to meet the rising labor demands of the city’s fast growing economy.
Entry requirements for those interested must be a resident of Iloilo city and must present the following upon enrollment:
a.) barangay certification
b.) voter’s ID or registration slip, and
c.) city-issued community tax certificate.
Applicants must be at least high school graduate and must submit certified true copy of report card or diploma and certified true copy of transcript of records or diploma for college level or graduate, and 2×2 ID pictures.
