The Social Security System (SSS) opened its new office branch in Molo district here to better serve its growing membership base in the city and province of Iloilo.
In the inauguration of the new SSS office branch held Friday, SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emilio De Quiros said that the Molo branch is the 7th of the 24 branches that the agency has planned to put up for this year.
“We are aggressive in putting up more SSS branches nationwide in order to reach out and be nearer to our members,” he said.
Quiros also said that SSS office branches follow a new standard in terms of look to create a different atmosphere for the SSS members.
“Aside from providing the best service to our members, we want to give them good and relaxing experience,” he said.
The SSS official also said that agency is planning to put up more offices abroad to serve the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
“SSS is targeting to put up two branches abroad, in Toronto, Canada, and in Japan,” he said.
Meanwhile, Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said that the opening of the new SSS branch in Molo district here is a testament of the city’s economic growth and progress.
He said that more business investments and employment opportunities for the people would mean more SSS members.
The new SSS office is located at the 2nd Floor of the GT Plaza Mall, M.H. Del Pilar St., Molo, Iloilo City.
