The Rural Health Unit (RHU) personnel of the Local Government Unit of New Lucena, Iloilo recently bagged the Gantimpala Agad Award (GAA) from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for their prompt, adequate, and courteous delivery of public service.
The RHU-New Lucena personnel were recognized for the effort and support they extended to the Medical Mission conducted by the Urban Angels of St. Michael Hospital based in Toronto, Canada in coordination with the Christian Family Movement Archdiocese of Jaro District, Iloilo Provincial Health Office, and LGU-New Lucena in 2012.
The GAA is the reward component of the “Mamamayan Muna” Program of the CSC which addresses good behavior in public service. Under this system, rewards and incentives are immediately granted to exemplary employees adjudged as such by the transacting public.
Mr. Rufino G. Leonoras, Chief Personnel Specialist of CSC Regional Office No. 6, conferred the Certificate of Recognition to RHU-New Lucena with Mayor Liecel Mondejar-Seville and Vice Mayor Nestor S. Sibolinao gracing the said event. (Source: PNA)
