There will be no more board exams from June to August this year as these will be rescheduled to 2021, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said.
In an advisory posted in their official website and social media accounts, PRC announced the rescheduling of the June To August 2020 Licensure Examination in the year 2021.
PRC had been postponing the board exams since middle of March this year due to community quarantine all over the Philippines brought about by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Minimum health standards such as physical distancing are very hard to implement with thousands of examinees crowding the testing centers, hence the suspension of these exams.
Here’s the official advisory as posted by PRC:
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the POSTPONED June to August 2020 Licensure Examinations for the following professions will be rescheduled in the year 2021: Environmental Planners, Guidance Counselors, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Mining Engineers, Nutritionists-Dietitians;
Psychologists, Psychometricians, Social Workers, Veterinarians, Master Plumbers, Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics, Medical Technologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Sanitary Engineers.
The specific dates of the new schedules will be posted on PRC’s website and official social media accounts. For further queries and concerns, you may email Licensure Division at licensure.office@prc.gov.ph and licensure.division@prc.gov.ph.
