PRC Board of Nursing has cited West Visayas State University College of Nursing for being the top performing school in May 2014 Nurse Licensure Examination.

BON Chairwoman Carmencita M. Abaquin presented the Plaque of Recognition to WVSU President Luis Sorolla Jr. and College of Nursing Dean Rosanna Grace Belo in University Cultural Center on August 1, 2014.
The ceremony was part of Testimonial Banquet and Oathtaking of NLE passers of the University.
The Board of Nursing has ranked WVSU as top nursing school for its 100% passing rate in the board exam. The school has 139 passers in the NLE, including rank no. 7 Mark Laurence Latumbo Caro (84.40%).
Last year, WVSU CON was also cited by House of Representatives’ Committee on Higher and Technical Education as the top nursing school in the Philippines.
