Palm Concepcion Power Corporation (PCPC) was awarded by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Iloilo for being the second-highest revenue contributor for Financial Year 2023.
The recognition was presented during the BOC Port of Iloilo’s 169th founding anniversary on September 27, 2024.
PCPC, the owner and operator of the 135-megawatt power plant in Concepcion, contributed Php411,765,095.88, for 2023, boosting the Port of Iloilo’s total revenue, which amounted to Php3.50 billion from January to August 2024. This recognition underscores PCPC’s commitment to driving local economic growth through its operations and compliance with customs regulations.
“We are grateful to once again be recognized as one of the top contributors to the Port of Iloilo. This recognition is a testament to PCPC’s commitment not only to providing power but also to contributing to the local economy,” Ms. Ma. Paz Dolores Alipio, Assistant Vice President for Supply Chain of PCPC said.
PCPC joins Panay Energy Development Corporation and Orison Free Enterprise Inc. as one of the top three revenue contributors.
