Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW), the largest water supply company in Iloilo, announces the appointment of Angelo David Berba as Chief Operating Officer effective April 1.
Berba will replace Engr. Robert Cabiles who played an instrumental role in helping broaden the business across new markets and in putting in place the foundations to drive MPIW’s operational improvement.
As part of his new role, Berba will assume responsibility for project execution excellence, implementing operational and growth plans while optimizing and digitalizing the way MPIW provides water service to its customers.

As a business leader, he has delivered significant portfolio, customer-centric initiatives, and organizational change as part of transforming his business areas into a more focused, growth-driven, and sustainable business.
Angelo David Berba, MPIW’s Chief Operating Officer said “I’m delighted to be joining MPIW at such an important point in the company’s evolution as the water infrastructure development transition gathers pace. We are entering a new growth phase and I look forward to continuing the great work that Rob and the MPIW team have done so far to build an operational platform that can deliver improved service for our customers, create inspiring career opportunities for Ilonggo’s, and generate improved community benefits.”
He officially joins MPIW on April 1st and will assume full COO responsibilities. Metro Pacific Iloilo Water is a joint-venture company between Metro Pacific Water (MPW) and Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD).
