McDonald’s is set to open at Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park (IBP), the 72-hectare expansive commercial, business and lifestyle district in Mandurriao, Iloilo City on June 30, 2014.
IBP is Megaworld Corporation’s biggest real estate project in the Visayas with vision to elevate the lifestyle and business circuit of Ilonggos. McDonald’s is the first commercial establishment scheduled to launch and cater the Ilonggos, offering only the world’s most-loved fast food meals.
The whole day grand opening is a festive celebration starting at 10 a.m. with free Big Mac for the first 100 customers who will avail of any food purchase. Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2014 grand champion Tribu Panayanon is set to perform a spectacular tribe performance while former Eat Bulaga contesting group from Mandurriao National High School will showcase a cultural performance.
At 11 a.m., free Burger McDo will be given for the first 100 customers after availing any food purchase. It will be followed by a colourful motorcade with McDonald’s official clown and mascot, Ronald McDonald with McDonaldland characters.
For the selfie-craving customers, free photo booth will be available and a caricature drawing activity will all start from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. McDonald’s will be giving away free Sundaes and Regular fries for the first 100 customers in the afternoon.
