Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog is all set to deliver his State of the City Address (SOCA) on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod session hall by reporting the gains and performance of his administration in 2012.
Mabilog said the report will focus on his 10-point agenda for city development by sustaining the momentum of progress in his first two years in office as the city chief executive.
The SOCA will focus on education, business development, tourism development, housing, health, infrastructure, crisis management, environment management, public safety, consumer protection and good governance.
Mabilog said he will also face the challenges of the third year of his first term especially on water shortage, calamities and sinister destabilization efforts of various political groups out to discredit his administration.
Aside from water and calamities, the city government is also set to implement the comprehensive drainage system, Parola ferry terminal project, and the closed circuit television (CCTV) system especially in high risks businesses in the city.
Mabilog said the city is currently enjoying the trust and high confidence of the business sector and the city residents with the entry of multi-billion peso investments of business corporations such as Megaworld, Gaisano, Ayala and many more. By Lydia Pendon
