No less than Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog and the city’s top officials in various departments and offices toured around the metropolis.
“We have this organized so that our department heads and their assistants can experience firsthand how it is to tour around the city, see the places worth visiting, and ultimately become ‘tourist guides’ to their own family, visitors and friends,” Mayor Jed said.
The chief executive stressed the importance of “pride of place” and “sense of ownership” of the city which every Ilonggo should know by heart.
The group toured all the districts, starting with City Proper and ending in the district of Arevalo.
The stopovers included the Casa Rizaliana and the Rosendo Mejica ancestral house in Molo, and Camiña Balay nga Bato in Arevalo.
