President Benigno Simeon “PNoy” Aquino III is in Iloilo today and tomorrow to inspect various infrastructure projects and lead the 117th Independence Day celebration and vin d’honneur. Watch the livestream of the events below.

President Aquino will have a drive-through inspection of the ongoing improvement works of the Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr. Avenue that serves as a gateway to Iloilo City from the Iloilo International Airport in Cabatuan.

He will then unveil the markers of the Iloilo Circumferential Road (C-1) renamed after the his mother as “President Corazon C. Aquino Avenue”, and the Dungon IV Bridge in Jaro district.
PNoy will also inspect the ongoing construction of the Iloilo Convention Center situated at the Iloilo Business Park, the Muelle Loney Bridge that will give access to the new Iloilo-Bacolod Ferry Terminal, and unveil the marker for the newly-restored Casa Real de Iloilo
On Friday, President Aquino will lead the flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies for the country’s commemoration of the 117th Independence Day in Sta. Barbara town and will proceed to Casa Real de Iloilo for the traditional vin d’honneur which will be graced by the members of the diplomatic corps, Senate President Franklin Drilon and other selected senior government officials and invited guests.
