Sixteen cute and lovely little girls will vie for the inaugural Little Miss Hablon 2015 as part of the Miagao’s Hablon Festival this 2015. Check out the candidates and the full schedule of the festival below.
Hablon Festival is an annual event every first week of September which showcases the fame and grandeur of towns hand-woven cloth. This year’s festival is themed “Hablon nga Madinu-agon, Bugal sang Miag-aowanon”, and is slated on September 3-6.
The 4-day celebration features the culture and heritage of Hablon through exhibit, fashion shows, trade fairs, parades, and this year’s highlight, Little Miss Hablon 2015.
Mayor Mac Napulan and the local government of Miagao, together with international fashion designer Nono Palmos presented to Iloilo designers, media, and bloggers the following finalists:

Aside from the annual Hablon Festival, Mayor Napulan also revealed that the Miagao LGU will put up a Hablon Weaving Center at Barangay Indag-an next year to serve as a one-stop shop for tourists who wish to see everything about the heritage cloth.
