Updated: The much-awaited opening of Krispy Kreme in SM City Iloilo will happen on November 30, 2014, as announced in a press conference held November 14.

Krispy Kreme is an international doughnut and coffee chain renowned for their glazed, yeast-raised Original Glazed Doughnuts. A box of assorted Krispy Kreme doughnuts is always a perfect pasalubong of Ilonggos to their loved ones.
Blogger Jorry Palada first shared the tentative date of opening on November 28 on his Flavours of Iloilo Facebook page, posting a teaser photo of Krispy Kreme’s doughnuts with rumored date of the opening.

Then an update was posted on his blog:
“Latest buzz has it that Krispy Kreme, after so many delays, will finally open at SM City Iloilo in NOV. 28, 2014 at the upper ground floor near the main entrance taking over the space to be vacated by Red Ribbon.”
The under-construction Krispy Kreme store in SM City previously announced the May 2014 opening, but it did not happen due to unknown reasons.
