Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) has made it easier for incoming first year students to be admitted in the school due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
In an advisory posted May 13 by the University’s Public Information Office, ISAT-U President Raul F. Muyong said that they are waiving the Entrance Examination, Aptitude Test, and Interview as requirements for admission.
This policy is applicable only for incoming freshmen of academic year 2020-2021. The University is doing this as part of its strict compliance with the health and safety protocols to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Instead of the scrapped requirements, incoming First Year students will be screened based on their general average, school graduated from, and other factors which include scholarships, honors/awards received, involvement in co-curricular activities, among others.
ISAT-U will release the list of Accepted Applicants in two batches: on June 22, 2020 for the First Batch, and July 3, 2020 for the Second Batch.
Enrollment for the accepted applicants will be done online on the following schedules: First Batch – June 23 to July 3, 2020; Second Batch – July 6 to July 17, 2020.

ISAT-U previously announced that they have started accepting applications for admission for those who have not previously applied, with deadline on May 29, 2020.
