Philippine National Police Director-General Nicanor Bartolome will lead the inauguration and blessing of the P10-million hospital built inside Police Regional Office IV Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City on Friday (Sept 28).
The hospital has been accredited as an ambulatory surgical clinic (ASC) by the Department of Health (DOH). This means that the health facility can perform surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay.
Chief Inspt. John Dexter Lopez, chief of Physical Examination Office, said that the ASC specializes in providing surgery, including certain pain management and diagnostic, consultation, and services in an outpatient setting.
“We can cater simple surgery within the capability of our facility,” said Lopez, adding that complex medical surgical cases will be referred to specialty hospitals.
Meantime, PRO 6 Director Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said that the hospital will bolster medical services to their personnel and to their neighboring communities.
