111 Filipino students from AMSLI Team Philippines hailed during the awarding ceremony of the 6th World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) at Grand Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea last July 17 as they reaped 21 Gold Medals, 41 Silver Medals, 25 Bronze medals and 14 Merit awards during the WMI held in Yonsei University last July 13-17, 2018.
The said competition was participated by students from 20 countries namely South Korea, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam, and Philippines.
Ilonggos again took pride to the 12 participants of Asian Math Science League Inc. (AMSLI) from different schools in Iloilo City who all bagged awards.
