Iloilo City hosts two healthy places that grabbed regional awards given by the Department of Health (DOH6).
The Philippine Foremost Milling Corp. in Lapuz won as Healthy Workplace for Highly Urbanized City Category while Tagbak Terminal in Jaro district won as Healthy Bus Station in the region’s Search for Healthy Places 2012.
Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog said the recognitions are another manifestations of the city’s good standing as a healthy and livable metropolis.
DOH6 recognizes the dynamic partnership and support of various stakeholders for keeping the populace in the best of health, said regional director Susana K. Madarieta.
The awarding rites will be held at Punta Villa Resort on March 14 at 10AM.
