Finally, the Iloilo City Maternity and Reproductive Health Center has been opened, following the blessing of the new facility February 11.
It is located at the Iloilo City Hospital Building, Western Visayas Medical Center (WVMC) Compound in Mandurriao district.
The health facility was completed under the term of Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog, and was made possible through the efforts of Cong. Jerry P. Treñas and Sen. Franklin M. Drilon.
“The welfare of every Ilonggo is our priority, and providing them with quality and affordable health care service is one of our thrusts towards a healthy and productive citizenry,” Mayor Jed said.
The two-ward (for male and female) 40-bed capacity hospital will cater exclusively to metro residents especially the thousands of beneficiaries of PhilHealth card here.
