Iloilo City joins 1st National Bicycle Day Fun Ride

Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog welcomed thousands of bikers who are expected to conquer Iloilo City’s streets during the simultaneous 1st National Bicycle Day Fun Ride on Sunday, November 23.

Free registration awaits bike enthusiasts at Megaworld Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao district starting at 6AM.
Mabilog stressed the big event is another showcase of the city’s growing reputation as an ideal sports tourism destination.

Iloilo was chosen as Visayas venue along with simultaneous rides in North and South Metro Manila, Pampanga, and Davao.

“Be part of the solution as we all seek less congested streets and cleaner air. Show our government officials and fellow citizens that the growing cycling community is here to stay and deserves support in terms of bicycle facilities and infrastructure,” said biking advocate Rock Drilon.
