Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) donates 10 biometric timekeeping kiosks to Iloilo City government to be installed in the new city hall.
Mayog Jed Mabilog accepted the timekeepers, which also includes customized 201 file system helpful in automating the attendance of employees of Iloilo City Hall.
The turnover was made on Friday with PVB EVP and Branch Banking Group Head Jesus Vicente O. Garcia present together with VP and Branch Central Services Head Alfredo B. Santiago, VP and Corporate Communications Head Miguel Angelo C. Villa-Real, AVP and Visayas Area Head Daisy S. Sibya and PVB Iloilo Branch Head Elsa L. Peregil.
In a statement, Mabilog expressed thanks to the donor saying, “The biggest benefit derived from the timekeeping kiosk is that the machines were installed at no cost to the City Government. In addition, maintenance of the hardware and software will likewise be shouldered by Veterans Bank.”
The new biometric kiosks in Iloilo City Hall is expected to result in better attendance monitoring of employees, faster completion of HR monitoring reports, the use of new technology enhances the professional image of government workers, and increased productivity of the City Government.
