Iloilo City Hall employees with plantilla positions will be receiving half of their 13th month pay and half of cash gift of P2,500 each by November 15, 2012.
City Treasurer Katherine Tingzon announced the good news on Tuesday after verifying the payroll processing for the Christmas bonuses. She reminded that the other half of 13th month pay and cash gift were already given to the permanent employees last May 2012 as mandated by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
Tingzon added, however, that the productivity enhancement incentive (PEI) will only be released by third or fourth week of December when the savings of city government are already collated and known.
Last year, the city government released P12,000 PEI each permanent employees on top of additional allowances to barangay officials, volunteer workers and teachers during Christmas.
