Ryckxeian Isiah Alcubilla was a bronze medalist in the same competition.
Belleza stressed that experiences like these helped boost their confidence. It also made them strive harder to win more contests.
“Being a Mga Bagong Rizal Awardee really made me more dedicated. I won’t be able to make it possible without preparing myself spiritually, mentally, and physically. I always put God in everything that I do,” said Belleza.
“On behalf of SPED-ISEC family, we would like to thank City Government’s effort in giving honor to the students. They really worked for the achievements that they had. I hope they can inspire more students to study and focus on their studies for better future,” said Valerie Mae Belleza, SPED-ISEC Math teacher. (Thessalonia Ordales/Iloilo City PIO)
