This is a big year for Iloilo City as it garnered a plethora of awards and accolades from local, national and even international award-giving bodies.
The livable and sustainable metropolis, also known as the City of Love, emerged on top of every other local government unit in Western Visayas as it got recognitions and achievements whole-year round.
“These are not just achievements of my administration or the Iloilo City Government, but rather achievements of the entire Ilonggo community,” City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas said in his Facebook post.
