Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas announced that the Iloilo City Government will accept advance payments for real property taxes due in 2025.
Treñas stated that in addition to the 40% discount granted for real property taxes on land, taxpayers can also avail of the regular 10% discount for advance or prompt payment of realty taxes on land, structures, and machinery if taxes are paid in advance this December.
He added that paying taxes in advance will help taxpayers avoid the hassle of the usual first-quarter rush at City Hall and the City Treasurer’s Office, which is caused by the renewal period for business permits in January and the first-quarter deadline for real property tax payments in March.
City Treasurer Jinny C. Hermano, meanwhile, said that in compliance with the directive of the City Mayor, revenue collectors will report to the City Treasurer’s Office at City Hall and to four (4) offsite payment centers located at The Atrium, SM City, Festive Mall, and Mary Mart Mall throughout December, except on December 25, to accept payments for real property taxes.
Starting December 16, payment of realty taxes at City Hall will be accepted on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Offsite payment centers will accept tax payments on weekdays during the following hours:
The Atrium and Mary Mart Mall: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Festive Mall: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
SM City: 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
