The BDO Foundation, together with the city health office of Zamboanga, successfully completed the rehabilitation of the Mampang Health Center to help improve the health and well-being of its residents.
According to Mario Deriquito, president of BDO Foundation, the rehabilitation project, which involved the improvement of the health center’s consultation rooms, treatment rooms and clinics, to name a few, was finished in just two months. He recognized the work contributed by the staff of Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, Zamboanga’s city health officer, in the said initiative.
Mampang is the town where Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz grew up and discovered her passion for weightlifting. Diaz herself expressed her enthusiasm on the development and even thanked BDO Foundation for its efforts to improve and rehabilitate the center.
Talagang you truly find ways. Gracias po,” shared Hidilyn.

For her part, Dr. Miravite said, “Thank you to BDO Foundation as this is the fourth health center that has been rehabilitated. We hope that this will not be the last.”
