Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) Philippines announced that it is going to hire 1,500 employees in Ilolo City to ramp-up its global operations in the country.
HGS Philippines President and CEO Pushkar Misra revealed that the company is expanding its operations outside the National Capital Region (NCR) to bring more jobs to qualified Filipinos in the Visayas, particularly in IloIlo City. “Illongos don’t need to go abroad or in Metro Manila or Metro Cebu anymore to have a corporate career. We want to discover and attract highly qualified talents in the province and bring the opportunity to them,” Misra said.
Misra added that the goal of HGS in the country is to provide more Filipinos with employment and training opportunities in a global company with competitive compensation and benefits package better than the blue-collar jobs being offered to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) abroad. “Filipinos with proper training and motivation can surpass talents in many companies in other countries especially in the field of customer experience where the focus of big global brands nowadays is to strengthen the customer relationship aspect of their business. Filipinos are great in building relationships,” Misra said.
Misra even emphasized that the career growth in HGS is inclusive regardless of gender, age, social status or school graduated. “We build careers in HGS for as long as the talent is qualified,” he divulged.
HGS will kick-off its full-blown recruitment efforts for 2020 on January 25 in celebration of the Dinagyang Festival with a walk-in hiring event entitled HGS Dinagyang BEAT 360 at 6:00PM at the Barrels Resto Bar and Saxxy’s Bar and Grill in Red Square Complex, Smallville Business Complex at the Iloilo Ayala Technohub.
Marissa Rosales, HGS Philippines VP for Human Resources, said that the job fair on January 25 is actually a recruitment party to attract as many talents as possible while celebrating the Dinagyang Festival at the same time. “In HGS, our culture is keeping the individualities of our employees while advancing their career in a global organization,” Rosales added.
“We are inviting everyone to visit our recruitment party and check out the employment opportunities available. You may find yourself with a global career after your visit,” Rosales exclaimed.
