Senior citizens in Iloilo City can now enjoy free movies every Tuesday in cinemas in the metropolis.
The City Council amended Dec. 5 the ordinance establishing guidelines to facilitate and promote the free movie admissions of senior citizens at movie houses, cinemas and theaters.
Councilor Irene Ong, author of ordinance, said the elderly shall be accommodated only upon presentation of the specially designed movie pass together with the Senior Citizen’s Identification Card or similar ID.
The free access shall be available on first week of the screening.
It shall also be available only on the second week of screening of Metro Manila Film Festival.
The free movie pass is not available during special and regular holidays, and not applicable to Premium and 3D movies. (Iloilo City PIO | Photo by ABS-CBN News)
