The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 6 will conduct free operations to interested cleft lip and palate patients.
DSWD-6 has partnered with Medical Mission Matters Philippines for its pilot surgical mission engagement on March 3-9, 2017 at Jesus Colmenares District Hospital, Malbog, Balasan, Iloilo.
Cleft lip and palate patients will be provided with vitamins, food, accommodation, laboratory expenses, transportation costs, antibiotics and the actual surgery itself.
The organizers have invited expert plastic surgeons and anesthesiologists from Manila to ensure delivery of best results.

Currently, they are gathering more beneficiaries for their first run of collaborative implementation. There are no limits to slots since they will be doing more surgical missions in the future.
