Unidentified men riding a black car attempted to kidnap a female student of University of San Agustin at the height of heavy rains on Monday, September 26.
UPDATE: The student admitted Tuesday that she just fabricated the near abduction story.
A certain Beth (name withheld) posted in Facebook her that dreadful experience happened while she was on her way home from the university. Passenger jeepneys were scarce in the area due to flooding, so she decided to walk home to Fundidor, Molo.
“Around 7:00 pm while walking from San Agustin to Doctors this incident happened. Our class ends before 6:30 and from the gate baha na. So I decided to walk na lang kahit sobrang layo papunta ng bahay (Fundidor).
“While walking near the vicinity of Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital, two guys grabbed my hair and pushed me to enter the car,” she related.
