Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) put up ‘Philhealth Express’ booth at Robinson’s Mall in Iloilo city on Monday, the second of such in Western Visayas.
Philhealth Express booth which is located at foodcourt area of the mall provides services such as members’ registration and assistance, specifically the issuance of identification cards and Member Data Records (MDR). These are requirements to avail of PhilHealth benefits.
The first Philhealth Express booth in Western Visayas was installed at Robinson’s Mall in Bacolod last October 25, and the agency aims to open two more in the region.
Lourdes Diocson, Field Operations Division Chief of PhilHealth Region VI, said that express booths will help decongest PhilHealth regional and local health insurance offices.
