Ubra Shared Space and Coffee Lounge, in partnership with the Daily Guardian, is venturing into a new podcast and video project which will delve into the habits and mindsets of leaders in different fields.
Dubbed as Coffeenated, Ubra will invite experts in their respective fields for a one-on-one talk about relevant topics such as business, millennials, careers, and work ethics.
“The goal for this podcast is that, if you want to go somewhere then you have to ask somebody who has already been there,” said LCid Fernandez, host of Coffeenated and vice president of the Daily Guardian.
“Every single guest that we will invite to the show will be talking about their habits, what makes them tick, what are the things that they think about, what are the messages that they try to espouse,” he added.
For the first few episodes, organizers have already prepared a slate of leaders who will guest in the podcast, such as Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas, Althea Tan of BluAgile, and Ryan Gersava of Virtualahan.
“This podcast is something new to the Ilonggos, so we want to introduce it really well,” said Arlene Juan Tong, owner of Ubra.
The podcast will at a maximum of 20 minutes, held once a month, and it will be presented through the Facebook pages of Ubra and the Daily Guardian, aired in Spotify, and it will also be played on BlueJay Café and Ubra.
Recording will be done in the Board Room of Ubra, which is located at 2nd level of SM City Iloilo Southpoint.
“We are very enthusiastic when we saw Ubra’s Board Room because it is really conducive for something like this,” said Fernandez. “Ubra fits into the flow of what we are trying to achieve.”
Organizers are looking at the month of November for their maiden episode, with updates and teasers to be released at social media pages of Ubra and Daily Guardian.
