TOWIL aims to give due recognition to the women who have manifested exemplary performance in their particular field of profession that significantly contributed to the city’s development.
“This is our way of honoring extraordinary Ilonggas who made big difference and created positive change in their chosen careers,” said Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog.
The criteria cover leadership skill – 20 percent, commitment – 20 percent, women empowerment – 30 percent, and community and civic involvement – 30 percent.
The citation is part of the celebration of National Women’s Month last March with the theme “Kaayuhan ni Juana, Iupod sa Adyenda.”
