Marketing agency and public relations firm Prometheus and its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lcid Crescent Fernandez were honored at the 2024 Asia CEO Awards on Tuesday, October 8.
The 15th Asia CEO Awards recognized Fernandez as one of the Young Leaders of the Year during its awarding ceremony held at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
Prometheus, the first and only full-service marketing agency and public relations firm, was also hailed as one of the SME Companies of The Year.
Fernandez launched Prometheus in August 2019 from his bedroom with mostly do-it-yourself equipment. During this time, he rose to become the VP External of Daily Guardian, where he created several content series’ that modernized Daily Guardian’s reporting.
After five years, Prometheus grew from its humble 3 digital marketers working out of a bedroom to a team of 50 idea engineers leading the industry in its locality.
Prometheus has evolved from a digital marketing agency into becoming the only award-winning full-service marketing agency and public relations firm based in Western Visayas.
Fernandez became the first Ilonggo to ever win the Marketing Leader of the Year Award at the Marketing Excellence Awards (MEA) Philippines 2024.
Earlier this year, Prometheus took home silver trophies in Excellence in Anniversary Marketing and Excellence in Urban Guerrilla Marketing took home silver trophies in Excellence in Anniversary Marketing and Excellence in Urban Guerrilla Marketing.
At the Asia CEO Awards 2024, Prometheus was one of the 188 companies who were part of its Circle of Excellence awardees.
“These organizations and people are the best of these, chosen for their out-sized contributions to the nation’s progress,” said Richard Mills, Chairman of the Asia CEO Awards.
Fernandez was joined by Prometheus Chief Administrative Officer and Daily Guardian Publisher Lawrence Clark Fernandez, Prometheus Chief Operating Officer Blessed Bea Plondaya, Executive Creative Director Francis Gino Fanega, and Prometheus subsidiary WARP’s Chief Technical Officer Kevin Ryan Atutubo.
