At least four possible magna cum laudes of the 164 graduating pioneer batch of Iloilo City Community College (ICCC) are set to receive honors on their Graduation Day set in April.
Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog said the first set of graduates is the realization of dream of providing the poor but deserving students the opportunity to finish college.
The fresh graduates are trained on competencies of four-year Bachelor in Science courses including Office Administration and Travel Management.
Iloilo City Government in partnership with the private sector and transport associations has made successful the various scholarship programs, competency trainings and free ride to school for the ICCC scholars. [via PNA]
